Who Made the Best Hire?

Arizona still has to find their guy, but seven other teams have already chosen. I'm going to leave Reid out of this for obvious reasons. Which team made the best hire?

Jacksonville. Which is weird since they were IMO the least attractive spot.

Chip Kelly was my first choice, definitely Eagles.

BlackHelicopters 01-17-2013 02:55 PM

Jax

You may be right if he can get that defense installed in Jax, but I see a guy with two Grey Cup titles going to the Bears. Can he fix Jay Cutler or minimize the problem. At a minimum he will have to fix that Oline. I feel the Bears job was the one with the least issues coming in.

I think Chip is the popular choice but I always have to wonder if a college coach can get their gimmicky offense to work in the NFL or relate to the players. See Steve Spurrier/Bobby Petrino.

My Top 3

1. Jacksonville
2. Cleveland
3. San Diego

ya, some work out and some don't. That goes for everybody though, including DC's and OC's.

Philly Eagles.

i truly think Jax might have found something with that hire.

and by something I mean at least a coach that maybe has a chance to field a competitive team. That dude seems to know his shit, and Seattle might really miss him next year

The Bears job is interesting but to me there are a lot of negatives. Cutler is a headcase at best. The Oline is in bad shape. Defense is old. Urlacher, Briggs, Peppers, Idonije, Tillman are all 30 or older. Devin Hester is even 30.

Wait and see who all the OC and DCs are.

My gut tells me Kelly will be a failure because his heart isn't in it. I'm not worried about his offense not being an NFL offense and the X's and O's but just his mindset. He waffled too much about entering the NFL. When big name college coaches aren't in it 100% they bolt.

Romeo performed a miracle to our defense when he got here.

Look at him now!

They all went cheap imo. I think they will all pay for it too. Looks like a bunch of crappy coaches to me. I don't want to hear anything else about Clark being cheap...

You guys do realize the defensive guru in Seattle is the head coach right?
