Which WR to sign?

If the Chiefs had to sign one of the following WR's (pretending all would be available this year), who would you want them to pick up and why?

Plaxico Burress

Chad Ochocinco

Charles Rogers

Brandon Marshall

Chris Henry

T.O.

It's sad that I'm thinking T.O. This question is like that Southpark with the election between the Giant Douche and Turd Sandwich.

VOTE OR DIE!!!

Have another beer on me.

The Bad Guy 08-28-2009 12:41 PM

Charles Rogers? WTF

Id take Rogers cause he knows he's hanging by a string and wouldn't cost as much as the others.

OnTheWarpath15 08-28-2009 12:45 PM

Marshall.

Youngest, most long-term upside.

OchoCinco would be my next choice.

Theres no upside to Brandon Marshall. Besides getting teammates killed, beating up women, and acting like a baby in practice.

yea until he starts punting balls in practice

Dante84 08-28-2009 12:48 PM

I went with Plax. He's a straight shooter.

I say we give him a shot.

He would always be gunning for that number one spot.

When he's carrying, there's a pretty good chance something good is going to happen.

I say we pull the trigger and go get this guy.

Maybe but Im just saying that hes kinda been black balled and I would think he'd straighten up if given a chance. That is absolutely dependent on him joining a team with a HD like Haley that wont take his shit. Ocho Fuggo, and Marshall would destroy the locker room in no time at all.

I forgot, we're KC fans.

We don't want talented players.

Not one of those guys.

No thank you.

I want talented players on the Chiefs roster but at what expense?

You know as well as I do that the Chiefs aren't going anywhere this season (or most likely, next season as well).

Why deal with the headache of those "divas"?

I urge you to watch the video my friend. I wouldn't let the guy near KC if I had a choice.

Shutup. You ever played football before? I played in highschool and have coached pop warner and I've NEVER seen a player act like that. Also you must have convient amnesia, The Chiefs signed "talented" players who were flawed and we saw how good that worked.

Dude, it's a hypothetical that says we HAVE to sign one of them, FFS. I'm not suggesting we go after him, just answering the question.

And if you haven't figured it out, the vast majority of good WR1's are divas.

Besides I stopped the video as soon as I saw Matt Millen had any input at all....:banghead:

Brock 08-28-2009 12:56 PM

Had to? Marshall.

DeezNutz 08-28-2009 12:57 PM

Marshall.

Ouchystinko would be option #2.

No thanks to the rest.

I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night, and thus I'm more qualified.

Thanks, I never noticed.

I just wish the Chiefs would go back to the good ol' days and get a wide receiver like Marc Boerighter or Joe Jurevicious or Dallas Clark. Hard working, regular "Joe's".

If we had one of those guys, the sky would be the limit.

soundmind 08-28-2009 01:13 PM

I think Chris Henry is the only one you could reasonably acquire.

Pending Plax's future jail time/dismissal/god knows, he'd be my first pick if it all goes right for him.

Chris henry seems to be turning himself around. He's a good receiver to have opposite of bowe and has high upside. Young. He's my pick.

Six years ago it would have been T.O.

Three years ago it would have been Ochocinco.

Now it's Marshall.
