Why the hell would NFL Network have picked this game even at the beginning of the season? What a dog of a game.

I actually asked that exact question to someone on the phone about 20 minutes ago. Was Carolina supposed to be good this year?

Well unless the Panthers can win in Pittsburgh, the Chiefs bye week hopes are crushed. :(

Not really. They were a .500 team last year, but I can't imagine ever looking at the schedule this year and thinking they were a good choice for a prime time game.

Which of course means they'll bury the Steelers.

Well, the one win Cleveland Browns did it last year.

The funniest thing regarding the Panthers this season is something I thought of last weekend.

The Broncos lost by 30 to a team a couple weeks ago (AZ), then the following week that same team was an underdog (2.5 points I believe) to the 1-12 Carolina Panthers. Congratulations Donkeys, you are THAT ****ing terrible.

Unless I'm wrong 3 other things need to happen as well as that...

Oh, I know. The Steelers and Ravens both gotta lose out, and we have to win out. But this can clinch it for good.

This game is on tonight so people can get excited watching the Steelers beat the Panthers like Clarence Kay's girlfriend, and then on Saturday the matchup is Dallas and Arizona, so (based on preseason thoughts) people could get excited watching the Cowboys beat the Cardinals like Tom Cable in a coach's meeting. I think the NFL figured that a Pittsburgh-Dallas Super Bowl was a good bet and wanted to get them some exposure beforehand.

Does anyone have a feed for this atrocity? I can root against Pittsburgh, if only for the first four minutes of the game... by that point, the Steelers should have it well salted away...
