So what exactly needs to happen for the Royals to make playoffs? Obviously we need to win out, so assuming we do, what can the other teams do?

I don't think anyone here 'expects' KC to make the playoffs. It's one of those unlikely scenarios, it's the fact that we're not eliminated that gives us hope.

This is truly a season of "What Ifs".

What if May hadn't been as horrible as it was?
What if we hadn't lost a late series to Houston?
What if Ned hadn't 'Yosted' us several times.

Unfortunately, thats the game of baseball. Nevertheless, it's September 24 and KC still has hopes to make it into October. That's something to be proud of.
