The Niner punt return unit fumbled to setup a Chiefs TD. The San Fran kicker shanked an extra point so low that the Chiefs easily blocked it. 8 point swing on two very dumb mistakes by the Niner special teams unit. Maybe the Special Teams coach should be the first guy terminated.

They played fine in the Super Bowl -- but the rest of the playoffs not so much.

Wilks was a massive issue for them, regardless of that unit FINALLY pulling its head out of its ass for the Super Bowl.

Actually a bit miffed they fired him after Shanahan saying they'd all be back yesterday. Don't want them hiring someone competent.

The 49ers calling a TO on D because Shanahan didn't want them in cover 0 is all you needed to know.
