If you don't have anything planned for the day, head out to Old Town Shawnee. They're having an incredible event and you can take a cooler inside with you. We have 2 different Planet members (that I know of) on 2 BBQ teams this year and I stopped by their sites last night. Tooge and his friends make some really incredible Q. I'm kinda proud of my stuff but I can even admit when somebody does better Q. Their brisket (which they claimed wasn't great) was better than my best ever effort on brisket. Their ribs were first class. Burnt ends = phenomonal. Sides were quality as well.

I didn't get any of Stewie's Q but I'm pretty sure he knows what he's doing.

I believe you can do the $5 judging contest if you go today.
