Honestly he was never told or encouraged to actually do anything at UT except show up and throw the ball. Give him a legit QB coach and he excels.

I really like him as a late 3rd round or early 4th round pick for us.

Been saying that for awhile now. He's either BOOM or bust, no in between. But let him sit and learn under a strong QB-centric coach and he could be a good QB.

Honestly, what this means is how long it will take to absorb a playbook.

That's about it. It doesn't measure intelligence on the field, which is more of a product of instinct, discipline and work ethic in practice.
