Retail cards

People that work in Retail, I've got a message for you.

NO, I don't want to sign up for the (Target, Kohls, Cabelas, Bass Pro, etc. etc.) card and save 10% on my purchase today.

I've been on this earth for 46 ****in years. If I wanted to create a store charge card, I'd ask for one. But I don't.

You ****ers ask me every time I come to the checkout. It makes me not want to shop there.

Stop. Next time I'm in a retail store and some ****face asks me if I want to save 10% today by signing up for the stores charge card, I'm gonna ****ing go off.

Why am I pissed? Because I went to two stores today for boxers, shoes, and socks (Target and Kohls), and both asked me the same ****ing thing.

Tooge, are you sure you wouldn't like to sign up for the Chiefs Planet Visa? We can give you 10% Casino Cash Back on every purchase you make at participating retailers.

Oh, I get that. But a little sign at the checkout would be fine. I especially want to punch (or choke out) the ones that then say "are you sure? you will save money on todays purchase"

**** you! **** you and everyone that looks like you!

You realize they are required to ask you, right?

The best way to have it stopped is not griping at the store level unless its the store manager. Call the corporate offices too, that is where all this is coming from. The employees are usually pretty much forced to ask it or face termination. So the best thing to do is find the top dog in that store, also mention it in any comment cards or surveys, keep threatening to take your business elsewhere.

The 2 grocery stores near me allow kids to sell whatever they're selling for whatever reason they're selling it for right by the entrance. Annoys the shit out me. The last thing I want when buying a sixer and some Easy Cheese is some snot nose talking about a trip to Europe or some shit.

You're sure you're not interested? There's no annual fee.

Blaming the wrong person man, you should get mad at the people who this type of marketing is effective on.
