I've always wanted to take advantage of a storage unit's first month free special, never pay my bill, and put a bunch of empty boxes with enticing labels stacked around 4 strategically placed upright tires just to go watch the auction take place.

again, they hardly find unbelievable items. ITS RARE that any of them make any really really good money of their storage finds. Sometimes they bank in when they find coin collections and what not, but its not often.

I remember saying man, you can buy a new xbox for around 200! so why the hell would anyone want an outdated xbox? He would always find bags of clothes and say there's 50 dollars right there

Oh, shit. I used to be in this business. We had people do exactly that, and just dump their junk off. I've cleaned out hundreds of these things, and 99 percent of them are just people's trash. Getting rid of that thing was the best thing I ever did.

Plus it was a shitty original xbox not even a 360. Plus who knows if any of the electronics they find actually work, but they put those high estimates anyway.

Brutal. I used to go to damaged freight auctions. Scored big dozens of times. Then the damaged freight carrier opened their own retail store and they started putting reserves on crap you couldn't even test. Had to pay almost half of retail to get anything good and got burnt on a couple of electronics that were supposedly tested so I quit going.

Oct. 30 Brandi Passante, one of the stars of A&E’s “Storage Wars” is suing Hunter Moore over a pornographic video he released.

The Chicago Tribune also reported that Hunter Moore was once the operator “Is Anyone Up,“ a pornographic website. Brandi Passante claims it is not her and is suing Hunter Moore for damages, attorney fees and a judgment to destroy everything owned by Hunter Moore regarding the sex tape.

A District Court judge issued a restraining order. That order demands that the video and photos be removed from “Is Anyone Up” as well as Fleshbot.com, another pornographic site where Hunter Moore posted the sex tape.
