Other teams will know that. The scenario I replied to was Geno in the 1st and Wilson in the 2nd. The author was suggesting that we then could trade Wilson away for someone's 1st.

If we selected Wilson as insurance, and didn't need to cash in that policy, then he'd be a backup.

That's the first thing.

The second is that no one is going to trade a first for a back up.

The third is, as a second round pick, he is not going to be "high salaried".

And BTW, until further data, I consider Wilson in the 2nd a much wiser pick than Geno in the 1st. Unless Geno in the 1st is a result of trade down and Dorsey has raped a team out of a bunch of draft choices for it.

I just strongly doubt Dorsey will go QB 1 & 2.

WHAAA???!!!
You are not going to get Tyler Wison in the second round in any case.

Smith and Wilson will both likely be top 7, and there will likely be 4 QBs taken overall in the first round.

BlackHelicopters 01-19-2013 06:57 PM

He looks slower than Jon Baldwin. No.

DeezNutz 01-19-2013 07:00 PM

I wouldn't **** with Te'o with Houston's pick.

And even if by some crazy chance he did make it out of the first round, there is no way on earth you could have counted on it happening to the point where you pass up on Geno expecting Wilson to fall to you in the 2nd. Or any of the rest of these "potential" QB's for that matter.

No, you dumbass.

I am saying you're a stupid ****er if you think you're going to get a first round pick for a back up QB.

No need to call me names. This didn't go well the last time you started doing this in a draft season. Since then I have kept a very civil posture toward you.

If you read the exchange you originally replied to you will find out that I AM the one who is saying that no one will give us a first for a 2nd round pick. That is unless YOU are a stupid ****er.
