They would have to give us a pick as well. Flowers for Johnson+5th rd pick that could turn into a 3rd

Yeah, I just checked and the dude is a yardage BEAST. Only averages 14 games a season but still goes for 1,150 per. That's an insane average over an 11 year career.

He has yet to crack 10 TDs in a single season though. I wonder how a guy can be so productive as far as catches and yards go but lag so significantly in TDs.. Strange.

Its a fun subject to banter and dream about, but the 100% fact of the matter is that no matter what happens... he WONT be coming to Kansas City.

Contract doesn't bother me. We could spend 10M on him this year and cut him with no cap hit next year.

Absolutely.

I look at it this way. He was an elite, top 2-3 WR in the league. Now, he's probably top ten, which is elite by our standards.

Yeah, this guy is going to Boston or Denver.

Probably Denver, where he will be part of 15 win regular season team only to get destroyed in the playoffs by a team that actually plays defense.

So they're carrying 6 WRs?

LOL! Just kidding. He and Kubes were VERY close so my guess is IF he goes anywhere, it will be to the Ravens now that Gary is their OC.

Dunerdr 05-13-2014 02:57 PM

Do we have patriot trash to trade em?

htismaqe 05-13-2014 02:57 PM

That would be some kind of ****ing karma if they landed Andre Johnson after not taking a WR in the draft.

And especially after what happened with Emmanuel Sanders...
