Montreal Alouettes interview Jim Zorn for head coach

Jim Zorn, most recently quarterbacks coach for the Kansas City Chiefs, has interviewed for the head coaching job with the Montreal Alouettes, according to a source close to Zorn.

Zorn played quarterback in the NFL from 1976 to 1987, mostly for the Seattle Seahawks, and passed for 21,115 yards during his 11-year career.

He was head coach of the Washington Redskins in 2008 and 2009, going 12-20.

Marc Trestman, who won two Canadian Football League championships as head coach of the Alouettes, was recently made head coach of the Chicago Bears, replacing Lovie Smith.

They have this new fangled thing called "Google" that can help you with that question. It says that Alouette means "lark", the bird.
