Pretty average for Dempster. Besides 1 1/2 years of his entire 16 year career he's been a pretty trash pitcher who got overrated on a shitty Cubs team.

I have noticed this a lot watching Alex over the years in NY. Especially when he feels like he is getting heat from a crowd, he makes all buddy buddy with everyone. The umps, the other team, ect. He won't really argue with the umps in those situations and I knew if he got hit he wouldn't charge.

I used to defend Alex when other Yankee fans gave him shit, but after this saga I don't feel for him at all. That play still got my blood boiling too. I love how Sox fans seem to ignore the players on their team that took roids. Does Dempster throw at Ortiz in the locker room?

I hope you are laughing about the first line and not the second. I have no problem taking heat as a Yankee fan about money or A Rod stuff. But people always seem to give the Sox the slide when it comes to money and PED's, which they also have. They also get tons of media attention. The Sox just don't have all the winning, which is what all the hate is really about.

The perfect example is the Johnny Damon comments. If you want to say stuff about the Yankees in 09', fine. But how do you just ignore what happened in 04'. To me, you could almost argue 04' was worse because multiple guys cheated and it helped bring down one of the most important and well known sagas in the history of baseball. The Yankees in 09' was just another Series win(relative to 04).
