The owners will just hire some other ****ing lackey.

Hopefully the new lackey is more well spoken and less of a douchestick than the current lackey, but the point remains.

With a new five year contract max at $200 million that should be enough for retirement

Probably apart of the contract terms in all honesty, we'll give you five more years because you still bring us money, but after that five we get to replace you.

He's always said that's when he wanted to retire. He wants to get the owners through one more CBA with the players. Although this next CBA agreement might be the nastiest one yet.

After five more years under this ****ing prick, the league will be in tatters. Good time to step away, I guess.

He might step away before five years if he completely destroys the league before then.

I hope he blows it apart. Players should all get rookie contracts and big ass money for playoff games.

When Goodell inked his contract he was the epitome of "do what you have to, not what you can" mentality. Jones was probably right for the wrong reasons.

I can’t wait to see who the commissioner of the new football league will be when the owners are of “new money” like Jay-Z, Cuban, Diddy, Fertitta, LeBron, etc.

every nfl team has a succession plan, i'd bet it's mandatory, now if Jerry whips his penis out in front of 90K, the league may not let his family keep it..
