Email question:
How do I embed a pic into the body of a yahoo message so it would be there in front of their eyes when they open the email? As opposed to attaching one that they have to open separately. I really wanna know the answer.

(1) Enter the body of the e-mail, saying for example " we visited the Blanchards on thw week en. Here is one of the pictures I took with my new digital camera" :
(2) Now hit INSERT and a window will come up. The three options on this window are" File attachment Text from file Picture Choose the "picture option and click on it. (3) Scroll until you find the picture you wish to imbed. Click on this. Now press OPEN and the picture will now imbed into your message. (4) Your cursor will be at the lower right hand corner of the picture. Now hit enter so as to move your cursor down oneline and ready for you to type more of your message. |
IIRC if the person receiving the email uses AOL the pic will be an attachment even if you try to embed it. It's some kind of safety deal in case someone sends pr0n or something. Just FYI.

Anyone with a brain is going to have protection against this kind of thing.

Are you sending pics of lil' Frankie to the wife while she's at work?

I want to know this, too. I've even called tech support and they are clueless. I can forward embedded pics, but can't embed pics myself. MIAdragon's solution isn't apparent to me either. I don't see an "insert" option for pics.

Thanks be unto you for that you have contact with ChiefsPlanet support.
Please to let us be starting from the begin. First, the computer line is in the wall plug, is correct? |
Load yahoo mail in one window.
Open a separate browser window so you have your mail in one window and a separate browser in the other side by side. In the empty browser window, upload your pic to imageshack or photobucket. Drag the image from it's online imageshack or photobucket location and drop it in the message you're creating. You can resize it at that time as well if you need to. But realize that you're still going to run into the issue that a lot of mail apps won't display embedded pics in an e-mail from a user you don't know. |
