Pearl Jam

Anyone else going to attend May 3rd at The Sprint Center?

Molitoth 03-17-2010 03:12 PM

Maybe if they played "Ten" in full.

DMAC 03-17-2010 03:16 PM

Maybe if Adam Sandler was singing.

Demonpenz 03-17-2010 03:30 PM

I'm thinking about going. I don't really like Pearl Jam much, but tickets aren't outrageously expensive ($50 - $70 before service charge) and I have a friend who really wants to go.

I'm not a big fan of what I've heard from Band of Horses either, but my exposure is slight. I'll have to listen to my only BoH Cd again and see if it catches me this time around.

Bro. Listen to it 3 times. If it doesn't grab you, something is wrong with you. Seriously.

I saw them a couple of years ago, and was having a great time. Then Eddie Vedder starts talking about how they're from Seattle, and there's a company there called Boeing that gives people a lot of jobs, but also.......builds a lot of bombs that kill children. Blah.

When I saw them at lollapallooza he stopped during a song and was like "hey dudes. You're moshing around too hard, man."
He always just seems like he's affected to me. Like he's aware of how he looks and he's playing a part. Like A-Rod. Maybe that's unfair, but that's how I feel.

OK, I'll give it a few more tries.

You may just tell your friend that you are down if he picks up the drinks for the night. I have gone to several shows I wouldn't have that way with friends and have dragged them to stuff they may not go to the same way. Chances are you will likely end up enjoying the show.

Very good band but music is extremely subjective.
