A California prosecutor is under investigation for allegedly making offensive remarks about Maxine Waters, Michelle Obama and Mexican immigrants on social media.

Michael Selyem, the deputy district attorney in San Bernandino, California, has been placed on an administrative leave while the investigation takes place, San Bernandino District Attorney Michael Ramos said in a statement.

“Being a loud-mouthed [c***] in the ghetto you would think someone would have shot this b**** by now …” the comment read.

One of Mr Seylem’s posts allegedly featured the words “Mexican word of the day: Hide”, the Sun reported. Another reportedly featured Ms Obama in a doctored picture with a sign reading: “Trump grabbed my penis.”
Just a friendly reminder that the way you guys routinely and cavalierly talk here will still get you in trouble at your jobs as soon as you step out of your conservative bubble

The first one is inexcusable.

The second one is a stretch.

I do not understand why private people post their personal s*** on social media under their real name.

Their personal shit should have almost never have implications for their jobs.

So then I guess Peter Strzok should be in handcuffs?

HonestChieffan 07-11-2018 04:46 PM

I find his behavior inexcuseable.

No question about it. He should be fired today.

GloryDayz 07-11-2018 04:49 PM

He sure could have chosen different words. He could have just called her a ****in pussy.

Prison Bitch 07-11-2018 04:50 PM

I think any public employee making disparaging comments about Michelle or Trump should be terminated.

BTW, a thread title repair seems to be in order.

You won't see Gayemania applying his outrage equitably. It's okay for people like Strzok to keep their jobs and for their superiors to even keep them in key positions until they are force to move them.

But a loudmouth Sheriff badmouthing Democrats, well, we just can't have that.

There's a huge difference between a private (text) conversation and posting on a public forum.

Why? The sentiments he expressed can routinely be found on the pages of Chiefsplanet.

Private texts on government owned devices? Yeah, sorry, nice try. And the texts are now public. Their superiors knew about said texts.....

Again, nice try

Yeah, you would never see sentiments like that about Trump or R's on the internet. Right?

I'm sure you're as equally outraged about that, ain't ya?
