Luck and Griffin both had a year of eligibility left. While seniors academically they are considered underclassmen. Luck returned for his redshirt junior year he could have left as a redshirt sophomore.So to clear neither were senior bowl eligible, redshirting doesn't go you get in.

Neither were going to play in that game anyway.

There were underclassmen in the Sr. Bowl this year.

It just nice to see that people are working with each other, instead of working against each other trying to prove who is the bigger man.
