We destroyed the Broncos.
We killed them. Please allow me to dissect the game.
The nominal final score: 29 to 49.
Reverse the fluke fumble and touchdown (which by the way Bowe gave up on when he could have made the tackle), and of course we would've taken it in for a touchdown given our momentum: 36 to 42.
Take away the touchdown where the Denver-operated replay "was inoperable": 36 to 35.
Take away the touchdown that was handed to Denver when the replay suddenly "became operable": 36 to 28.
Give us the touchdown on the goal line, because we really should have scored there: 43 to 28.
If not for the above, we wouldn't have had to go for two twice: 45 to 28.
Tebow's stuff doesn't count. Seriously. He's just a marketing gimmick to the religious zealots in the mountains: 43 to 14.
We had that field goal return down for a touchdown except for a fluke tackle: 50 to 14.
There was one series where we had two near-interceptions. I think one of those could have gone to the house: 57 to 14.
Succop makes that field goal 9 times out of 10: 60 to 14.
We got the onside kick. That was a stupid call to take it back, and you know we would've scored: 67 to 14.
10 fluke plays that all went against us for a 73 point swing. If we just get a 50/50 normal luck on those, we win easily. If we'd gotten the same lucky breaks that the Hobbit Tribe got, we would've won by a near-NFL record.
