Tony Richardson at FULL BACK and Frank Moreau at HB. Richardson is a great FB, IMHO one of the best in the league - WHY change that? WHY convert yet another FB to HB??? If a youth movement is on, then lets go with Moreau at HB and give him the carries. Spell him with Mike Cloud so we can see what we have. If we are to develop a RB, then Moreau needs to START and get the carries. Quit playing the "musical full back" game - it's STUPID!

We may have no choice. I read Bennett left the game on crutches today due to a sprain. The only other FB is Anders. They may just move TRich back to FB...

You are correct. However, I voiced this opinion the SECOND I heard of the switch. I'm glad that Posnanski read my post and wrote an article about it. *grin* Our coaching staff can read, can't they?? because it's clear that they can't see!

It doesn't make sense to start Moreau at TB. He showed in the preseason he was our best back going around end. We ran that play quite a few times today so it makes more sense to use T Richardson and Bennet better straight ahead runners.

Besides Moreau ran for 12 yards up the middle with a nice cut to daylight (with speed). It wouldn't make sense to give him the ball again for the whole game.

Stock and Raye must go!

I agree with you wholeheartedly and I've been saying this since the last preseason game.

Moreau can turn the corner!

He's the first true inside/outside threat we've had in KC in memory.

TRich can still get his runs from the FB position, AND he's got the speed to get outside and TROW SOME CRUSHING BLOCKS for Moreau.

Have to agree TX, name one other team in the history of pro football, that has taken their best FB, and made him TB, four seasons in a row. Moreau/Cloud at TB, TR at FB, with Kimble as backup works for me, of course, I am not Guns and Jimmy Raye.

IMHO, when you have a RBBC you have a RB PROBLEM. When you KEEP drafting below average RB's and have to resort to converting your FB's to HB's the PROBLEM is that much WORSE. When you are in DENIAL that there is a problem - you lose your way offensively and you assemble an offense that looks like the Chiefs'. Finally when you FINALLY draft a RB like Frank Moreau that has ALL the features that you say you like in a RB and you DON'T start him at HB along with your BEST FB (Richardson) then you are simply an IDIOT! Your coaching ability has to be questioned at this point! That's how I see it - granted it's only my opinion but it makes sense to me.
