Apparently last night Jason Batemen was on Olbermann and said they are still trying to work out the details. And Jeffrey Tambor mentioned the movie during an interview with CBS last week, so it sounds like it might really happen.

"Candy" is from the original pilot. "Cocaine" is from the extended pilot only available on the DVD. I assume this means you only started watched AD when it came out on DVD, making me a better fan than you, because I watched from the beginning. OWNAGE.

I personally think that "candy" is funnier, because GOB figures that mentioning candy somehow makes it better for kids. "Cocaine" is still funny, but a little too overt.

New Shows From "Arrested" Developer

LINK

Yesterday came glorious wordthat "Arrested Development" producer Mitch Hurwitz is making a new sitcom pilot for CBS called "Happiness Isn't Everything," starringRichard Dreyfuss and Jason Biggs.

Biggs and comedian Ben Schwartzwill play Dreyfuss' grown sons, and we can only pray that they'll come with all of the awful facets of the Bluth brothers.

But what's this? The Daily Newsreports today that Hurwitz is also creating a sitcom for Fox with"Arrested Development" star Will Arnett. According to Arnett, the show's "a comedy thriller, a thrill a second."

Thrilling!

With an "Arrested Development" move in the works, and two new Hurwitz-developed shows possibly on the horizon, fans will now have more richly layered comedic weirdness than they know what to do with. May 2010 be the year of annoying your friends who claim not to watch TV with lines from the shows.
