Tamba Hali=Smart

OrtonsPiercedTaint 02-10-2013 02:14 PM

Yous people won't be asked to be giving any eulogies anytime soon.

Deberg_1990 02-10-2013 02:20 PM

If Hali was our GM or head coach, I'd be concerned. Since he's not.....two sh*ts were not given.

mcan 02-10-2013 02:25 PM

I think it would be AWESOME if Cassel went to another team and led them deep into the playoffs and proved everybody wrong. Just think his time in KC is over. It's time for this team to wipe the slate clean and rebuild around the probowlers we are currently wasting...

OrtonsPiercedTaint 02-10-2013 02:27 PM

Cassel was Hali's old faithful. When he couldn't score a sack anywhere else, he knew he could in practice. Sometimes a man needs an easy one.

BigMeatballDave 02-10-2013 02:28 PM

I don't care what he says about Cassel.

He threw the current OL under the bus, though.

You were right. We couldn't see it as clearly as you did.

LMAO Don't worry, that'll never happen.

And why would it be awesome?

Hammock Parties 02-10-2013 02:35 PM

The only place Cassel is leading anyone deep into is a burly man's anus.

Yeah he kinda did, which is just strange because they've been one of the better O-Lines in the league the last few years protecting Cassel, who's been one of the worst QBs in the league.

I dont get it Tamba.

He threw a whole unit under the bus to back up a terrible QB that is not coming back?

And just the fact that he doesn't see that our O-Line is pretty damn good is disturbing. Does he not understand that Cassel is just terrible? Does he not get that a great QB doesnt need a dominant O-Line?

And a fair chance Tamba? He's gotten FOUR years. 4 years to prove that he's not even a good backup QB. He got way longer than pretty much any other bad QB would get because our GM was a complete dumbass.

But he needs another chance?

Stupid Tamba.

I root for the good guys. And despite his lack of success as my favorite team's qb, he's undoubtedly a very good guy. And I've really hated the last few coaching staffs around here. I would feel vindicated if we found out he was actually a very good quarterback who was ruined by incompetent coaching. Joe Montana would look horrible under these guys. I'm pretty certain. So we probably never got a really gauge for how good Matt could have been.

That was the cringeworthy part of the statement, in my opinion. That wasn't a nice thing to do.

I just dont ****ing get it.

Has there ever been a QB as bad as Cassel who gets as much support from dumbass fans, teammates and the local and national media?

It's mind boggling. HE'S NOT A GOOD QUARTERBACK. HE NEVER WILL BE.

He has no physical OR mental tools. He is not a starting QB in the NFL. He shouldn't even be in the league.

No offensive coordinator, scheme, coaching or players around him will change that.

He's been garbage his whole career, why would that all of a sudden change?

And WTF is up with this "He's a good guy" shit???

So tired of seeing that, what the **** does that have to do with anything? Why do people feel bad for a guy playing football for a living and making $60 million?

Bump 02-10-2013 02:53 PM

he's just trying to be a good teammate. If players were allowed to say what they thought, everybody would be all butt hurt about it.

OrtonsPiercedTaint 02-10-2013 02:55 PM

Do Charger fans get all down when Ryan Leaf pops up in the arrest news? Do Bronco fans get all giddy when Tebow helps builds a church in South America?

All ex-Chief QBs fade away or become the fade.
