Just got my Lucid sight delivered. It is bad ass. :rockon:

They screwed up and sent the wrong magnifier, which is sort of ironic because I had previously screwed up and ordered the wrong magnifier. So now I've got the screw in magnifier I wanted in the first place. But, since I've already ordered the mount for the 3x, they're still going to send it, but I kept the 2x anyway.

Goofy situation, but I'm cool with it. :D

Here it is.

Full rifle, close up with the magnifier attached, and close up with the magnifier removed.

Yeah, me too. :D

All I've got left to do is install the sling mount and the BAD lever. Then my work is done.

Until I get the .762 upper, anyway. I might want to hold off on that one for a bit, though, lest the wife shoot me with it.

I could be mistaken, but I think you need an AR-10 lower to use a .762x51 upper, but I'm not sure about the 7.62 x 39.

The sight was $229. The 2x magnifier runs anywhere from $30 to $40. The 3x, which hasn't shown up yet, goes for about $190, but you have to get a mount for it.

Thanks. I'm still tinkering. I actually removed the cheapo laser from the side of the quad - seriously, what the hell do I need a laser on this for? I put the rail covers on as well.
