The KC Chiefs coaching search isn't the only thing on Clark Hunt's mind. He needs to hire a GM, too. Rumors around the Chiefs GM search are starting to heat up now that it appears Andy Reid is more than likely the man in Kansas City.

As the Andy Reid rumors have increased over the last few days, the one GM candidate repeatedly connected with him has been Tom Heckert, the former Browns GM and Reid's former personnel man in Philadelphia.
ESPN added another Chiefs GM candidate to that list: Packers executive John Dorsey.

Don't you think our future GM needs a thread of his own?

I'd ****ing love it if we landed Dorsey. Much more than Heckert. Although I wouldn't be unhappy with Heckert...

I think Heckert has done an ok job.

I think Dorsey has done an EXCELLENT job.

I would assume we have an advantage. No telling how Dorsey and Ryan get alomg and we all know he is best friends with Reid.

Unless Dorsey doesn't interview well or Reid has a change of heart, Dorsey is expected to join Chiefs personnel staff in coming days.
