OK! Finally some movement.

1 Portland Rhein Andrew Luck
2 Cedar Rapids Robert Griffin III
3 Topeka Tyrannicide Russell Wilson
4 Fort Worth Drifters Doug Martin
5 Springfield Attack Ryan Tannehill
6 Chula Vista cripplas Morris Claiborne
7 St Joseph Stetsons Casey Hayward

rageeumr 05-20-2013 12:04 PM

Wow. I had Hayward pretty high on my board, but 1.7 is a little surprising.

How did he get Claiborne then?

Neither of those guys suited up in 2012.

They don't have trade value.

not 100% accurate...Otah started 4 games according to this

Casey Hayward... I'm down for that.

Rain Man 05-20-2013 12:05 PM

If he doesn't make his pick, he should default to the top player left on the NFL draft, which I believe is Mr. Trent Richardson. Not a bad pick for him.

The owner was on the site at 7:00 this morning, so hopefully he knows. I think he's the person who has a "no pm's" setting, but he should have gotten the e-mail. I sent messages out through e-mail, chiefsplanet, and sandbox, so everyone should have received notice one way or the other.

If you don't pick in 60 minutes, the process is:

1. System autopicks whoever is highest on your draft board
2. If no one on your draft board, THEN it picks highest pick from last year.

He must have had Claiborne at the top of his board.

That was 2011.

The coming year is based on 2012.

5. The draft process goes as follows:

a. You should receive an e-mail warning you that you’re on the clock, but it doesn’t hurt to monitor.
b. If you have autopick off, you must make your choice within an hour of your draft pick.
c. If you have autopick on, your top pick will automatically be selected for you and karma will reward you for being efficient.
d. If you have autopick off and an hour goes by, we will automatically draft your top autopick if your draft board has names on it.
e. If none of the above occurs and an hour goes by, you will get the top player of the NFL draft who has not yet been drafted, regardless of your position of need.
f. In short, you’re getting a player within an hour of your draft time one way or another.

Yeah, that must be what happened. He filled out his draft board and then didn't click "autopick". Either that or he just showed up. Either way, Claiborne is a really good pick for his needs.

I think the same thing happened with Fort Worth. He seemed to take the full 60 minutes, and then took Doug Martin.

allen_kcCard 05-20-2013 12:10 PM

Makes sense on the pick order, missed that change.

I had him high, too. He fills a pretty gaping hole for St. Joseph.
