Damn, Alex Smith has been screwed over. Probably one of the best performing starting QBs (statistically) to be benched for no reason but trying to improve the position's play.

Guess his comments about playing the QB with the hottest hand wasn't BS.

Alex Smith is the anti-Cassel. Does all he can, gets great results, gets benched.

It was the only move he could make after that performance against a top D.
