Dorner's goal appears to be to expose the LAPD as being corrupt and incompetent. Well he can damn sure chalk up the latter as Mission Accomplished.

I went to Great Lakes myself. Summer at Great Mistakes, oh boy what a dream. I got to go back in the Winter for training too. ****ing horrible climate. Spent my active duty at sea or at 42nd Street.

I'm in SD right now and about 2 hours ago they had a number of helicopters flying over my hotel. Evidently the cops surrounded a Holiday Inn a couple of blocks away. In a boring meeting so I haven't got an update but the helicopters are gone.

Todd Phillips, don't make anymore Hangovers after the third, takes away the originality of its foundation. World War Z looks good and The Walking Dead season 3 (second half) looked intriguing.
