He took a four year vacation. Why should anybody be happy about the job he has done?

Here's the thing about Hunt.

You'll recall... after Arrowhead Anxiety and after the fans got blasted by the media for booing Cassel, who made statements? Clark Hunt and Mark Donovan gladly obliged to Babb's interviews, Pioli did not nor did he address it later. Clark Hunt made a statement defending the fans, while Pioli waited a week to make an ungenuine apology. Who was the guy wanting to fix the QB problem? Sounds pretty clear Hunt wanted Peyton, while Pioli was saying definitively that Cassel is the starter and went on a propaganda tour to support his guy.

It's confusing to me that despite all this, Hunt extended Pioli anyway. But even when the Chiefs got bashed publicly, it was Hunt, not Pioli, that took the reins in fixing it.

That the NFL has as many owners that allow the coach to hire ''his own'' GM has to be unprecedented. Those two positions should be mutually exclusive and both should report directly to the owner and allow him to weigh the recomendations of both men.

LMAO

I'm going to have to go ahead and give him the nod of approval.

Warrior5 01-04-2013 12:25 PM

He's not done yet, so I reserve judgement until I see GM, OC, and DC.

But I will eat crow for calling Hunt a gutless coward about a week ago... with Pioli gone and Reid about to be signed, I apologize and say, "Well done so far."

Now get Rivera...
