I am skeptical that he is getting fired. I admit that is probably mostly due to the fact I have been burned by the Chiefs for so many years that I just don't trust them any more.

That's fair. I almost considered including that in my poll for those people that are voting with their emotion.

I can fully understand the feeling, I actually feel it. But when I peel back my angst and look at the situation rationally, he ain't coming back.

Carl was in the middle of a rebuild with a completely unexperienced rosterand zero expectations and even he skipped town with a record like this. Pioli had high expectations this year. Get out.

Did you read Marty's post in the SOC thread?

I read Marty's story and it sounds good and I hope it is true but then I see a picture of Pioli in Oakland and he doesn't look like a guy that knows he is getting fired or was told he was going to be let go.

I will believe it when I see it.

I believe he already has been.

It just gets harder and harder to be positive about this team, without a doubt.
