Chiefs interested in Eagles trainer Rick Burkholder

I don't know if it was posted, because it isn't a huge deal, but I'm sure die-hard Chiefs fans are interested in any news involving the team. From earlier...

people w #chiefs impressed w Burkholder.

Rick Burkholder is a great trainer. Maybe the best in the NFL. I hope the Eagles keep him honestly. Trainers seem to be the one position that isn't noticed unless something disastrous happens like with RG3, but he always did a great job at getting players back ahead of schedule and he really knows his stuff. Health is important.

Thanks Mr. Biggles. You've been a great resource for the board lately. Much appreciated.

The Eagles went into Dallas on a 100+ deg day early one season about 12 years ago, starting the game with an onside kick and outplaying Dallas on every level enroute to an upset win. I think it might have been Reid's second season after a 5-11 debut. The Eagles players were full of energy and remained hydrated while Dallas players were cramping up, suffering heat stroke, and playing at half speed. Reason was, Rick Burkholder had the Eagles drink a cup of pickle brine before the game to help them retain fluids better. Kinda weird and I don't know if it actually helped or was placebo but it was his idea and it worked. Our guys were always well prepared and most of our questionable players on Thursday suited up on Sunday and performed.

He's a great trainer. Andy is bringing in some good people.

Burkholder is one of the most highly respected trainers in the NFL. He will often do press conferences to give detailed info if there is a high profile injury and the media wants to get all the information. He would be an asset and the Kansas City fans would really like him. And as mentioned before, it was the famous pickle juice game that began the Eagles run of dominating the NFC East back in 2000.

It's a done deal. He signed with the Chiefs.

Got yourself one hell of a head athletic trainer.

None of them have been chest inflated pricks like the Patriots fans.
