Ok.. thought there might have been some kind of betrayal there.

I did like the fact that she was annoyed by the wolves, and it turned out they were basically just raising the alarm. And... what happened after that might make her think differently of them in the future.

I could swear that in the novels, Catelyn wouldn't let the wolf into the room before that, that she'd kicked it out and it had been wailing outside the window.

But these novels are sooo thick and it's been years since I read them, so it's hard to keep everything straight.

(I intentionally did not re-read them after I heard about the series because I wanted the show to be as fresh as possible...)

Yeah, I seem to remember that Cat didn't like the wolves at all, but came around after Summer saved Bran's life.

And...
Spoiler!

Poor lady. Such an awesome looking wolf. Hope that twin bitch gets caught.

Those were some damn good stunt wolves. I especially liked the throat-ripping action. They haven't shown Ghost much at all though, and it makes me wonder when they will shoe-horn him in.

Also, a lot of the critics who got to see the first half of the season before the premiere said the 2nd episode was the weakest of the lot. If thats the case then the rest of the season is going to be amazing.

I hope like hell Arya reunites with her wolf. That had to suck.

Ghost was in the foreground of the wide shot of the camp before Tyrion and Snow had their conversation.

No doubt.

We'd be going into book spoiler territory if I went into this so I think I'll leave it alone.

I think I'm actually jealous of those watching the show that haven't read the books. You guys are in for one hell of a ride.

Oh hell yeah. Tyrion is definitely in the top three of characters in this story, with Arya and Jon Snow up there, as well.

Tyrion only gets better.

I was watching the show with someone who has read the books and I quipped "he carries himself with the stature of a much taller man" and he busted a belly laugh. :D
