Romeo vs Herm Interviews

I want to stab myself the more I see and hear Romeo. Talking nonsense and going in circles that can rival Herm.

RealSNR 10-15-2012 09:46 PM

The more things change the more they stay the same.

Pioli comes in and wants to change the culture.

Hires Romeo

TinyEvel 10-16-2012 01:12 AM

Seriously the worst drivel I've ever read of ANY interview.

"well, you know water is wet, and when you have wet water it's usually for all practical reasons... wet. The other team had some opportunities to get the wet water and they would be wetter than us but when it came to getting wet their water was wet and ours was wet too, but they had more wet water so that is more wet water which means more wetness. I an just disappointed and don't know what to say.

it gets better (or worse, depending on perspective) : When asked how close this team is to turning the corner, he goes

"Well there were times in Cleveland when it wasn't this close."

I about ****ing lost it.

Right at that moment.

KCrockaholic 10-16-2012 01:25 AM

Romeo is actually worse I believe. Hard to imagine.

"Well. Both quarterbacks are tall. And they can throw the ball. And I think they're both quarterbacks."

He's actually said that before.

today's was the best (or worst) EVER. Today, we got such wonderful nuggets as :

Does this team have an identity?

"It depends what you mean by identity."

No bullshit. Gorilla Tits said that.

Rasputin 10-16-2012 01:35 AM

This is the same guy that after the Packers game the team dump gatorade on for the victory & chanted RAC RAC RAC.

They pined for him and got him. Pioli made it happen, didn't do (if he did at all?) a true search for a Head Coach. Pioli hired Haley, got the worse possible QB that had no college backing, Haley gets fired and Pioli hires the safe imbeded coach he felt comfortable with that wouldn't push his buttons.

Summbitch we got screwed with hireing Pioli to begin with.

rabblerouser 10-16-2012 01:48 AM

incoherent moronbabbles like "we were in position to make some plays, but didn't make them...but if we make those plays, then we'll be better" made me feel dumber for trying to figure out what he meant.

munkey 10-16-2012 05:59 AM

I honestly don't think he knows what to say....he's simply there because he has to be which IMO only make it worse

BlackHelicopters 10-16-2012 06:00 AM

Romeo is beginning to rival Yogi in incoherent utterances.

TimeForWasp 10-16-2012 06:06 AM

I beg to differ. He at least answers those stupid ass questions the media asks. He shoots straight.

wazu 10-16-2012 06:17 AM

I want to hear more "hoopla" references.

Somehow picked up 810 in SW MO last evening on drive home. Caller suggested we needed Herm as GM. After I recovered from driving into the median, I pulled over and cried.

Imon Yourside 10-16-2012 07:36 AM

Herm was at least very entertaining, articulate and likeable. Romeo is boring and sounds really dumb.
