Which is exactly what we have done. And now we are missing the one key piece... QB.

Also, if you had to compare him to a major bust from a previous draft, which bust would you say he most resembles?

That's just ignorant.

Tell me how Geno compares to Akili...Akili was a 55% passer in college.

I'll give you the first comparison to get you started.

1) they are both black.
2)
3)
4)
5)
6)

You're only hearing shit you are making up in your own head because nobody has ever said Geno is a bad QB. Every evaluation I've seen had Geno above a 90.

Their only difference was completion percentage?

Is it true that one of them was primarily a throwing QB and the other was primarily a running QB?

Did one of them take the overwhelming majority of snaps from under center and the other from the shotgun?

Was one of them a big, strong guy while the other one was short and slight?

One was athletic, the other was a statue?

And do you have an answer for my previous question?

There is no way to know at this point. RG3 wasn't even in the picture the year before he came out and Barkley was a top 10 pick next year. A lot can change.

I've said this before, but if you want to pick a bust Tim Couch is a good comparison.

Y'mean like I didn't know a thing about Tyler Wilson, either?

These first round grades tabbed on meh players like Fales are never accurate and shouldn't be trusted in the slightest until people have seen them play the final season in college. And that goes ESPECIALLY for a guy who plays for a small(ish) school.

I've seen Fales play one or two games. He might be good. He might not. I have serious doubts that he'll be as good of a pro prospect as Geno. VERY serious doubts. We'll see.

Is that good enough for you?

That's a good comparison for offensive scheme, completion percentage, number of attempts and years as a starter. But Geno Smith was closer to Akili Smith in terms of his senior season rushing stats, and INTs. Geno is the middle ground between Couch and Akili when it comes to stuff like QB rating and YPA. All three of them are listed at virtually the same weight, but Geno is the shortest with Akili being closer in height than Tim Couch who was the tallest. Geno is the fastest, with Akili having a 40 time that was about .1 slower. Couch is considerably slower than Akili.

All-in-all, it seems like Couch is probably a better comparison, but it's not perfect. And unlike what Saccapoo and BossChief suggest, Geno Smith isn't completely dissimilar to Akili Smith.
