None whatsoever.

Pure homer bullshit/Palko AIDS talk.

Brady Quinn bad was never as bad as Matt Cassel bad.

This is far from an endorsement for Quinn. It's saying he's going to probably make as many mistakes as Cassel, but at least he'll make some good plays. We really haven't seen what Quinn can do with a real supporting cast.

3 games? LMAO

I don't even like Kyle Orton...but this is silly. He is clearly better than Quinn.

Well, say what you will, but there's some obvious malfeasance at work around here. Anybody could see that Cassel was losing his grip and his confidence. He knew the fans hated him and I have no doubt that the rest of the squad wasn't far behind.

When a quarterback doesn't have the trust of the squad, he's in trouble and he'll abandon that squad one way or another.

Orton started 3 games for us.

The only point I'm trying to make is what Quinn's best was. And that best was with a horrible team. That 3 week stretch is comperable to Orton's time here.

Again, I'm not saying he's a legit starter or the future. I only think he has the ability to provide a contrast to Ca$$hole (like Orton did) and show the world and Chiefs fans just how horrible Matt is...

Is it just me, or does the Ravens squad seem more ... I don't know ... into the game than our squad does?

A three week stretch? LMAO

Get the **** out.

Orton is a C+/B- QB.

Brady Quinn is an F QB.

No, he was worse.

He was 66 yards and 2 INT in his last start.

AGAINST THE 2009 CHIEFS.

Brady Quinn's career is a career of epic failure and suckage.

He's as bad as Brodie Croyle.

You're the idiot that said Quinn has never been remotely close to Orton.

Yeah, he was. It wasn't long and he was injured and done soon after.

But your dumb assed statement was wrong. I pointed out when he did play at Orton's level.

Orton's level is not setting the bar very ****ing high...

While I don't think Quinn will amount to much, if we draft Geno Smith and his first 12 games as the starter are equal to Quinn's first 12 starts, you guys would be fine with throwing him out?

Quinn's career has been stop-start from the beginning. The year you're referencing, Jerome Harrison and Jamal Lewis were his RBs and Chancey Stuckey and Massaquoi were his top two receiver targets. He's never had anything even remotely close to the talent KC has now.

He has a big arm. He isn't always accurate and he's going to make some stupid mistakes. But he's going to go through his progressions, he'll throw the ball with some zip, and he's going to throw a lot more on-target passes than Cassel ever did. He's not even close to the answer, but that's a huge improvement over Cassel whose offense revolved around looking at Bowe, then checking down.

They'll defend any player they have on thier homemade big boards. Hell, they still defend Sanchez.

A three game stretch, including one very shitty game, does not indicate crap.

Kyle Orton AVERAGED 300 yards a game for an 11-game stretch one season in his career.

He's an average/above average QB on a good day.

Brady Quinn is ****ing horrible and one of the worst first round busts EVER.

They are not remotely comparable.

I can find a couple of good games that Matt Cassel played, doesn't mean you can compare him to Orton, either.

O.city 10-10-2012 08:35 PM

Clay, we draft Geno and his first 12 starts equal that of Quinn, you done with him?
