should have kept Carr...cost us 0 draft picks and less money

Yep, I agree. Carr was my favorite player. It still really pisses me off when I think about him. Pioli should have been fired for how he handled that without even considering all the other bullshit.

How do you let the most ascending young defensive player in the NFL walk away?

okoye35chiefs 01-24-2013 07:28 AM

he can't stay on the field the last few seasons... I would say no

Chiefnj2 01-24-2013 07:58 AM

Football is a young mans game. Not a great fit for a building team.

:spock:we now know why you weren't even interviewed for the KC GM role.
That is some crazy thinking:doh!:

Odd that a 2nd CB would your favorite player but to each his own. :)

I totally agree with you on Carr. After Matt Cassel, one of Pioli's biggest mistakes.

I always thought he was better than Flowers. I felt like they should have switched positions. Flowers is more of a play maker but, Carr was a cover corner. It's like the game Lloyd came to town leading the league in receiving and Carr didn't let him have a catch. He was very underrated the whole time he was in KC imo. Even after he left, There were actually a lot of people who felt like Routt would be his equal.

No thanks . The guy is a big head case.

I wouldn't touch Revis, especially with the #34 overall.

Let some big market team like the Giants or Redskins or Philly overpay for his services.

THIS ALL DAY.

Carr was more physically talented and always had a much bigger upside.

Flowers was the guy that was solid and dependable but not....EXCEPTIONAL.

Carr has that ability.

I think it very much mirrors the Hasty/Carter dynamic.

Unfortunately Fat Scott wasn't impressed with Carr's "personality."

giving gigantic money to any position but Quarterback is risky.

His equal? Nah. Good enough to fill the hole? Yah.
