Here's the link for stock Galaxy S3: http://forums.androidcentral.com/spr...ck-rooted.html

You can go into Application Manager, and disable them.

But a better solution is to "Freeze" them, so that they'll stay disabled even after a reboot. I use an app called Titanium Backup to "Freeze" these built in apps. That prevents them from running automatically. Titanium Backup has additional advantages as well.

Love me some TIBUP

And of course, there's always CyanogenMod...

CM kicks ass!!!!

I had a couple of friends tell me last night that I should hold out and get the iPhone 5i when it comes out. They know someone who works for Verizon who seems to be tickled pink with the upcoming release (they guessed November).

So did they give an actual reason or are they just Applebots?

My friends said that if this guy was excited about it then it must have cool new features. They said that the camera improves with each new model, and maybe they'll do something with the screen size. They really didn't have any details.

They don't have any details, because there are none. Trust me. Apple doesn't let stuff like that leak. I wouldn't bother waiting, just get the best available right now that fits your budget. There will always always be another phone just around the corner that somebody tells you to wait for. And since Apple just released these 2 new models, it's going to be a year or so before the next release. Could be longer.

Students are all raving about the new iOs today, so Apple can still create a buzz among the teens.

No, they don't because the very few people that do have that information are required to sign confidentiality agreements. You would not believe how seriously Apple takes that shit....

Has anyone mentioned the LG G2? Supposed to be a pretty fantastic phone as well. Just another option to consider.
