This is perhaps the toughest heat yet for me. They're all great scenes. My reluctant votes:

#1 - Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I wasn't expecting to vote for this, but it's hilarious. The music and Rooney's eyes when he picks up the Ferris call is unmatched in movie history.

#2 - Big. This is quite simply a charming scene, and it makes me happy. I'm a big fan of this Big scene.

#3 - Close Encounters of the Third Kind. To show how close this heat is for me, I came in expecting to vote for this scene as #1. It's very well executed. However, after watching all three scenes again, this one drags just a tiny bit, and any flaw in this heat is fatal.

This is one where I really had to ponder hard. This is a tough heat to rank.

Were all of the Ferris scenes nominated by Rain Man?

If so, I'm very proud of myself.

One hell of a heat, love all three, had to go with Beuller.

Rooneys call is a true classic, but... its just not on the epic scale that Close Encounters is.

I'm somewhat pleased to announce a tie. Both Ferris and Close Encounters move on. RIP to Big.
