Well it sounds like if you're up by 35 the game is over.

Participation awards for all.

Maybe they should make a rule that any teams up by 28 must use Matt Cassel at quarterback for the remainder of the game.

So if you've put in the backups and they still are blowing them out, do you then punt on first down or let the other team score?

Just sounds like a somewhat ridiculous (fines? really?) extension of the mercy rule in little league, which I remember from 20+ years ago.

It'd be kind of funny to just pull your defense and let them score, and then put your offense out there and score, and then repeat.

Start taking a knee in the 3rd quarter. I'm sure that won't make the losing team feel humiliated, at all.

Stupid. Make it like the ten run rule and end the game if that's what you want.
But fining coaches? Beyond ridiculous.
