Flyovers at sporting events a thing of the past?
 

"Due to federal budget issues, the sporting world will soon have to say goodbye to flyovers. Michelle Beadle is alright with the cut because she isn't comfortable using tax dollars to fund this, but Dave Briggs says it's a reminder of our military in front of millions of people."

The flyovers at Arrowhead literally were about the best thing this team has had going for it the last number of years. This sucks, and I'm bummed about it.

Hopefully it's not a repost, I searched.

(and hopefully this doesn't end up in DC)

Would be a shame. They are a pretty big deal in Jacksonville as well due to the huge military presence.

And the hits keep on coming.

Here in KC as well. Whiteman AFB is like 50 miles away, and it is the home of the B-2 Bomber. They were good for at least two flyovers a season.

Rerun and Buelhler can hook us up.

I'd rather keep my money.

Flyers are lame anyway. People should be watching the white hot action on the field.

Teams should pay for them if they want to rouze the crowd.

They're cool but it's not why I go to games

The last few years the B2 Bombers were way better than the Chiefs games.

Some people just want to watch the world burn.

I always heard that pilots had to do test training runs anyway, and so they coordinated with teams to do the flyovers.
