A friend of mine was in a cafe in NY sitting next to Rushdie back when he was still married to Padma and struck up a conversation. She swears that he was hitting on her. If so, what a shmuck, he already had the goods.

but Padman Lakshmi used to have a Food Network series (Padma's Passport). Plus she's just amazing to look at. She's welcome at any of my tailgates.
