Damn, just saw this on the news. This is the first time since 2006 I didn't drive down to Daytona for the race and that wreck happened in the area where I usually sit.

I'm watching SPEED's coverage on the ol' vipbox here. Crews have completely removed 25 feet of the damaged fence and are preparing to replace it. I guess you could say they are not ****ing around.
