How active are you on the waiver/trades?
In my leagues it always seems like I have been the most active. Especially early on, often making a good number of moves before the first game. Usually real active for the first couple weeks churning the bottom of my roster.
I've been involved in 80% of the trades in one of my leagues over the last three years. For once, I think I'm pretty happy with the bottom of my roster, and I am not finding a reason to bite. I think I used to always pick up players that I really didn't feel good starting. I'm playing the kicker/defense of the week though, so I will probably still be one of the most active. Thankfully, my league doesn't use a waiver wire system. |
Im moderate, I make a trade or so a season, sometimes get into trade disputes that go nowhere.

I'm always making moves on the WW....unless there really isn't anyone that I want to get rid of on my team.
Trades are harder to come by. Everyone always overvalues their players. |
I have definitely been active on the waiver wire and trading block. I think I improved my team quite a bit from the draft.

Very active. I had 82 transactions one year.

I offer trades almost every week. Its almost become a problem because I've developed a reputation as someone offering very one-sided trades. But all it takes is one or two people to bite on them over the course of the year and you can really improve your team.

It's funny to see people scooping up McClown and Gabbert right now though. Are you ever going to start them? Why bother? We are generally a 2 QB (one WR/RB/TE/QB flex) league, but still.. better to start a 3d WR than those clowns most likely.

I rarely make trades but waiver wire and Sunday morning pickups are my bread and butter. 17-0 last year, no one ever came close to beating me in my main league...I didn't have the most moves but every one of my moves was efficient. My favorite thing to do is to have at least 1 bench position that is flexible enough for me to drop said bench player and pick up a key back whose starter just got hurt (think Cassel of 2008) and trade them or just let them ride the pine remainder of season.
