Its a little too poppish of a song IMO for country radio.

I wouldn't expect or even hope for her to care about one little midwestern radio station not playing one of her songs. But if she wants to talk about it she's welcome to come in to the studio.

edit... actually it's 2 stations. I program 2 in Illinois.

I think you should focus group all of your songs on ChiefsPlanet. We'll tell you what to ban and what to put into heavy rotation.

At this time we aren't banning her as an artist... just this song. Her early stuff like "Teardrops On My Guitar," "Our Song," and "Tim McGraw" are bona-fide hits that appeal to the country audience.

I would buy that if she didn't write her own stuff. But she does, and earned $35 million last year (tops in the US) on the back of those songs she wrote.
