I heard Emmitt Thomas was retained as well. I don't get the hate on Zorn. He had dogshit at the position. Flacco has regressed since he left. But whatever. A full house cleaning was in order.

Zorn isnt bad. Ya gota have good players. If you got dogshit then you "suck" as a coach

My guess is Gibbs and Thomas.

Chiefs reportedly have fired all coaches besides Emmitt Thomas and Gary Gibbs. Lovie smith had expressed interest in #Chiefs DC Job.

I want a DC who is either young enough to be a few years away from an HC opportunity, or a guy that knows his ceiling is as a coordinator so we can actually get some continuity and a system in place.

While I don't think any of the individuals we've had as coordinators have been that good, the constant change has made it that much more difficult.

If Lovie knows he's not an HC and would like to be a DC for awhile, let's do it. Otherwise, someone like Kevin Greene would be better.

Realistically what you're looking for is DC that can bring in good position coaches. That when he leaves....you can hire from within and still keep your continuity.
