I guess someone dressed as a dead girl might be offensive to someone who lost their daughter, someone dressed as a guy with a knife through their head might be offensive to someone that lost a friend to a murder where they were stabbed in the head, etc. There are plenty of "offensive" costumes out there, it is all relative as to who is offended by it and why.
