I started on my skills testing last August. Once I passed them, I started learning derby. Their last bout for last season was September. The last few months have been the "offseason". Getting us new girls some scrimmage time, time to learn the rules, time to get comfortable with giving and taking hits, etc. I went to Jeff City in December and skated in a mashup coed scrimmage, but that was more for fun. The season officially starts tomorrow. :)
