Hakim Chiefs contract voided by league
Chiefs | Why Hakim Left
Tue, 21 Jun 2005 19:29:57 -0700 ESPN.com's John Clayton reports WR Az-Zahir Hakim left the Kansas City Chiefs to sign with the New Orleans Saints because his one-year deal for $665,000 was voided by the league because of some of the provisions in the contract. Because some of the provisions were one of the reasons why he signed with the Chiefs, he decided to walk away from the Chiefs and call the Saints. I just carefully checked the first 3 pages of the board and if I somehow missed the original post. I'm sorry |
I dont understand, provisions, as in meaning what is what i'd like to know.

Carl can't even get the simplest contracts right.
Damn you, Carl. |
I'm glad the league can move so fast on this, while taking 12 months to figure out Warfield's suspension...

They're probably dragging their feet so that Warfield's suspension starts in January. |
