The entire segment made my brain hurt and ears bleed.
|

|
Defense has already quit on the offense before the first snap. Win!

That was painful.
Why did the Chiefs allow him to do that segment? |
Ya DJ not making that appearance count.
|
And people said honesty is a forgotten virtue...

Hey even a good game manager is an upgrade over Cassel! We made the Playoffs the year Weis made Cassel a serviceable game manager.

DJ said what everyone except Andy Reid and Alex Smith knows ... Smith is nothing more than a game manager. Maybe it's an "emperor's new clothes" sort ofthing. The players are trying to tell Andy to take off his man-love glasses for Smith. This was the same pair worn by Pioli when he looked at Cassel.
Andy had the temerity to say earlier that he was taking Smith to the Hall of Fame. DJ is basically telling him that the only way Smith gets in is if he buys a ticket. ;) |

Dorsey had an interview several months ago. He basically implied that Alex Smith was a game manager (good with short stuff, good enough on the intermediate, not necessarily a deep ball guy). I don't think any of these guys are dense enough to not see Alex Smith's limitations, and these guys aren't so stubborn that they'll refuse to bring in competitive options. |

To be fair, those two games for Alex Smith vs the Chiefs were week 4 in 2006 when the Cheifs won 41-0, and week 3 of 2010 when the Chiefs won 31-10.

No QB is asked to "manage games" in an Andy Reid offense. We'll find out if he sinks or swims soon enough. One thing's for sure...RRPP is dead in KC.

Mind numbing.

With what DJ has been playing with a game manager is a HUGE upgrade though.

Yeah, DJ is the guy I would pick to be the spokesman for the team.
|
Wouldnt Dorsey have been hired first if he were to be one calling all the shots?
I am sure Reid and Dorsey work together to come to a consensus, but I doubt final decisions are left up to Dorsey |

Clark and Dorsey do have hard ons for Geno though. |

But instead the Chiefs trade for Alex, and articles come out how Andy has always been high on him So question is if/when the Chiefs pass on Geno and Alex starts the year as the qb will you still hold the opinion that Dorsey is calling the shots? |
