Is this the greatest moment we've seen in the NFL in years?

Let's see some others. I can't think of anything better right now.

He makes a lot of mistakes but wow. He was fire tonight.

okcchief 01-13-2013 01:47 AM

Good day for Chiefs fans all around.

Hammock Parties 01-13-2013 01:48 AM

Flacco is going to get a big contract. That dude wins playoff games.

Bambi 01-13-2013 02:05 AM

The kiss to his bro while he's trottin into the end zone. Classic

Cephalic Trauma 01-13-2013 02:06 AM

To answer your question: Yes.

TribalElder 01-13-2013 02:08 AM

Yes

Manning Face was displayed

All was right in the world

Bambi 01-13-2013 02:10 AM

55 yard throw in the air.

Thig Lyfe 01-13-2013 02:18 AM

Truly one of the best games I've seen.

Ugly Duck 01-13-2013 02:32 AM

Dang.... I was working & missed the whole freakin game. Guess I'll have to read the game thread to see what happened....

RunKC 01-13-2013 02:37 AM

Easily the best game I've seen since the Giants first SB win over the undefeated Pats.

The Saints/49ers game was crazy last year.

I did enjoy this game quite a bit more.

KChiefer 01-13-2013 02:51 AM

yes. yes it is. one of the oldest adages and the basis of a defense with the lead in the closing moments totally and utterly skull-****ed. And it couldn't have happened to a more deserving team.

Yep.

He's a lot like Eli in that regard.

Red Dawg 01-13-2013 07:12 AM

The game was bad ass. That play was one that will be replayed forever.

the Talking Can 01-13-2013 07:16 AM

that game was ****ing epic

and flacco punked manning and his sad shriveled arm

FlaChief58 01-13-2013 07:22 AM

I watched the game at my donk fan buddy's house. Had smoked chicken and grilled venison loin. After all the shit he gave me about the Chiefs this year, his tears tasted so sweet :D

mlyonsd 01-13-2013 07:25 AM

I wonder if after the game their VP of Operations told Manning he's no John Elway.

CoMoChief 01-13-2013 07:31 AM

This was a great game....ended by a horribly Herm Edwards like coaching decision by Fox.

But was it the greatest thing we've seen in the NFL in years? - No

I'd rather watch my team win something instead of laughing at other teams failures in the playoffs after they won a division title for the 2nd year and we sit at 2-14 with shit in our pants.

Well that's a given but after suffering through the year we just did a little comic relief is warranted.

Red Dawg 01-13-2013 07:47 AM

What denver fans refuse to believe is that their team is not overrated. They only beat one good team all year and its the same one that just beat them. They lost to all the winning teams they faced. Houston, ne and atl. Thomas and Decker have been bubbed great because the have PM but in reality are ordinary. Yesterday they were handled with ease. Defense was way overhyped. Balt did exactly what Houston, Atl and NE did. Scored at will.

The greatest to me was Peyton throwing another INT. Please post if someone have it.

Best GIF. Ever

mcaj22 01-13-2013 08:44 AM

i dare ask why the combination of TONY CARTER/RAHIM MOORE is on that side of the field on coverage?

where is Mike Adams, Tracy Porter, Chris Harris, Champ Bailey?

surely they didnt have these guys covering all the under routes lol

that's just awful personnel matchups because 32 flat out quits like the scrub he is.

That game didn't even register.

Pasta Little Brioni 01-13-2013 10:08 AM

Looked like a play straight out of Madden. Imagine a controller would have gotten broken by the Denver player.

i said 'techmo bowl' when it happened...when you'd let the WR run off screen, hold the ball and then launch a field length pass

Pasta Little Brioni 01-13-2013 10:12 AM

Flacco has a ****ing howitzer. JFC the difference between he and Manning is just staggering.

rockymtnchief 01-13-2013 10:45 AM

That play was CGI'd. Denver has the bestest secondary in the NFL. Knowshit told me so!

You will probably never see another playoff game like it: future HOF'rs Manning fail, and Bailey repeatedly torched.

To quote the late great one, "how sweet it is!"

Prison Bitch 01-13-2013 10:47 AM

there are only a few other quarterbacks in the league who I think physically could have made some of the throws he made yesterday.

Rodgers, Big Ben, Cutler and I think is about it.

It was fun to watch some big arms throws. Dude has a cannon.

You don't think Cassel could make that throw? I think he could

Then he would put down the Xbox controller

GoChargers 01-13-2013 10:54 AM

That catch was up there with the Helmet Catch and Manningham's sideline catch last year.

I expect the NFL to look for a way to end this. Perhaps they'll say that obvious celebration before actually scoring shall be deemed taunting. Perhaps they'll say that, because how you intend something doesn't matter, it's how it's received, then while a salute will be considered OK, a blown kiss may not be.

I don't know, but anything that draws individually identifiable attention is a red flag for the NFL. What's next, helmet coming off being OK?

Hammock Parties 01-13-2013 10:59 AM

60 yards and right on the money....Wow

Exoter175 01-13-2013 11:24 AM

Greatest in years? Hell no. I've got about 983 from the regular season that were better in terms of "Greatest".

Now, if you toss some verbiage in there to qualify this as the best "****up" in years, then hell yes this makes the list and easily top 5 ROFL

Number one rule of safety play... ALWAYS BE DEEPER THAN THE DEEPEST GUY!!!!!! WTF was Moore thinking? They had corner coverage underneath (though he did give up to early on the underneath coverage) and Moore's job is to play deeper than the WR for that reason alone. Just freaking DUMB!

Strongside 01-13-2013 11:43 AM

As I posted above, the Marshawn Lynch run was special. To quote the guy from the 'hold my dick' youtube video (If you haven't seen it, go look it up), "So much determination. I neva seen this is the NFL befo'. A n**ga put his team on his back like dat befo' do."

I don't know, but if the Ravens still don't want Flacco after this season, he can play for my team.
Chicks dig the deep ball.
