The other day I learned that McDonaldland characters disappeared for a while because when we were kids there was protracted litigation between McDonalds and Sid/Marty Kroft alleging they appropriated McDonaldland from H.R.Puff'n'Stuff.

H.R.Puff'n'Stuff gave me nightmares. So did Chaka from Land of the Lost. Some twisted shows/characters, man...

ROFL ROFL - I felt so horrible in HS, in about my Jr or Sr year, there was a new student who could not look more like Gary Gnu if he tried.

The big nose, the beady eyes, the prominent mouth, the slicked back hair.

The entire school called him Gary Gnu. I bet half thought that was his real name. MoF, thinking back I THINK I know his real first name, but I can't be sure. I just know him as Gary Gnu.

Not that bad a guy, just an unfortunate intersection of a popular kid's show and a striking resemblance.

i work with a kid that looks like chris from the family guy :D
